Designed to be constructed in phases and utilize an existing supply of reclaimed old growth barn timbers. The guest quarters over boathouse is to act as residence during construction of the main home. The stepped lakefront elevation responds to the topography while bringing light and views into each space from multiple directions. The tower element rising through the residence is expressed in both interior and exterior, and provides a lookout retreat.
