Designed to support an energetic community of young music students, their families, and the local community, the architecture of the Institute is both precise and expressive.  The form communicates discipline, order, and improvisation—the qualities of excellent musical performance.  The heart of the building is a large gathering place for the school that maintains strong visual connections to the local community beyond.  Performance and practice facilities are provided at three scales: individual, group, and concert hall.
